Amit Kanda joined EVS Corporation in June 2011 as the Vice President of IT and Business Development.
In this role, Kanda works with EVS Corporation's engineering team to deploy innovative cloud technology and disaster recovery service offerings to EVS Corporation's customers and prospects. Furthermore, he works to ensure that the excellent customer service standards for which EVS Corporation is already known continue at unprecedented levels, far exceeding customers’ expectations. In addition to deploying new and improved data backup and recovery solutions, Kanda also is responsible for new business development efforts and expansion of EVS Corporation's existing customer base.
Prior to joining EVS, Kanda worked for Zayo Bandwidth (formerly Memphis Networx), where he led numerous large-scale projects, including managing the design of citywide telecom and data networks for two school districts.
Kanda received a bachelor’s of commerce from Delhi University and his post-graduate degree in management from the All Indian Management Association in New Delhi, India.
With proven experience managing IT, engineering, and operations teams, Kanda’s strong leadership is an excellent complement to the executive team at EVS Corporation.
